Rubber and processes
We have a wide range of rubber mixtures to meet the needs of the most selective customers.
We use different types of rubber: natural, chloroprene, nitrile, fluorelastomer, EPDMs, silicone, fluorsilicone, etc. that offer a wide range of properties: hardness, stiffness, resilience, impact, fire resistance, insulation, environmental agent resistance, chemical reagent resistance, oils, etc. This allows us to meet the demands of any sector: rail, automotive, aerospace, food, etc.
MGN chooses the best suppliers in the sector and acquires rubber mixtures under precise technical specifications for your production processes.
We constantly enrich our range of mixtures in order to meet the requirements of our customers in new projects as well as environmental ones, to which MGN is absolutely committed. All the mixtures we use for production undergo strict initial controls that assure their quality and operation during our production process and for the part’s entire operational life.
Service and flexibility
Our size allows us to adapt how we work to each request with flexibility and produce both large series and small batches with the same involvement and meeting deadlines.
MGN benefits from its professionalism, constant innovation and an agile production structure to integrate rubber and rubber-metal elements into the most advanced transport systems, machinery, structures, etc.
As specialists in vibration monitoring and damping systems, we help to turn transport into a comfortable experience for users and an appropriate way of sending goods over medium and long distances. We improve the stability and operational life of machines and structures. We reduce noise and vibrations to adapt to current legislation.
Our ample range of machinery, the versatility of our employees and adaptability of our facilities to different processes allows us flexibility to produce from large series to small batches adjusting to customer deadlines.
Chemistry, Engineering and R&D&i
We have developed a rich know-how through our technical staff’s systematic work and through R&D projects carried out with research centres and universities.
Apart from working on new rubber formulations for different requests, these are some of the projects in which we are involved:
Extreme conditions rubber project
“The study and development of materials for the manufacture of rubber-metal parts subjected to extreme conditions”. The project is funded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation MICINN whose goal is to develop rubbers that offer the best performance in a wider range of both mechanical and chemical operating conditions.
Safe Rubber Project (ETU substitution)
MGN is part of a consortium of European companies, research centres and universities that develop the Safe Rubber Project, which has received funding from the EU’s VII Framework Programme to develop a new, safer and more multifunctional curating accelerator molecule for chloroprene vulcanisation. They’re looking to replace the currently used accelerators based on ETU with a new accelerator that’s safer for our health and the environment.
